The word “sustainability” is increasingly widespread, even in the open-air sector. But is it really a topic in which accommodation facilities are investing? To find out, CONVERSAZIONI @ CAMPING BUSINESS met Marco Walter, Managing Director of Ecocamping.
The German company specializes in consultancy and above all in the certification of campsites that adopt policies in support of environmental protection. The Ecocamping label, which more than 200 companies boast in Europe today, can be obtained after an initial assessment based on an online questionnaire and a subsequent visit by the inspectors.
Ecocamping also offers advice to campsites wishing to obtain further environmental certifications.
