Outdoor tourism wants to start again. Some professional operators have joined forces and have created Open Air Next Step, an initiative created to give voice to the outdoor holiday industry. The recently launched website has the support of Assitai, Assocamping and Faita-Federcamping.

To promote the initiative, Open Air Next Step organizes an online event reserved to member of the press and professional operators to be held on Thursday, May 14 at 11.30 am. The title “Let’s start again together: synergies and solutions for open-air holidays in Italy. Tourism possible for summer 2020 between opportunities, safety and the pleasure of a new way of living the Made in Italy holiday” is self-explanatory and strongly expresses the desire not to be found unprepared for the next reopening of the accommodation facilities.

The speakers list includes:

  • Maurizio Vianello, president of FAITA Federcamping
  • Magda Antonioli, director of Acme – Bocconi University and Director of ENIT
  • Bruna Gallo, sales director of Human Company
  • Piergiacomo Bianchi, operational manager of Baia Holiday

  • Carlotta Ederle, managing director of Charming Holidays
  • Adriano D’Andrea Ricchi, managing director of Club del Sole
  • Carlo Berizzi, professor of the Department of Civil Engineering and Architecture of the University of Pavia

The conference, in Italian, will be moderated by Simona Tedesco, editor of the monthly magazine Dove. Registration is completely free and can be done on this page.

The outdoor holiday industry constantly attracts enthusiasts and new customers, both in Italy and in Europe. The goal of Open Air Next Step is to create awareness around a segment of accommodation that takes place in premium structures, such as open air villages specialized in glamping, which represent the innovation of the “camping” concept.

The site was created and promoted by specialized operators such as Baia Holiday, Vacanze di Charme, Human Company, Club del Sole and Vacanze col Cuore, together with Crippaconcept, vendor of luxury mobile homes which launched the Nuovisogni.it website.
