In this troubled autumn there is no end to the restrictive measures that are spreading more and more throughout Europe. If in Switzerland, in Bern, the Suisse Caravan Salon was closed two days after its opening, in France it is Equip’HPA, which was scheduled for 25 and 26 November, to be canceled. The decision was caused by the announcement by French Prime Minister Jean Castex to extend the number of departments under curfew to include Pas-de-Calais.
Equip’HPA thus joins the Sett de Montpellier, which had already been postponed from November to February 2021. The Le Toquet event is now included in the 2021 calendar, again in November.
Nathalie Lourtil, director of the exhibition, told the French site L’Officiel des terrains de camping: “This decision saddens us, but it didn’t seem appropriate to continue the organization with these new constraints, both for exhibitors and visitors. We will reimburse registered exhibitors and therefore we will schedule an appointment next year for the 18th edition of Equip’HPA”.
