As the pandemic situation improves and the safety protocols are finalized, the world of trade fair events is also ready to restart. Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) confirmed the dates of the next edition of SUN Beach & Outdoor Style, the reference event for the world of outdoor, beach resorts and camping sites. The 38th edition will be held from 14 to 16 October in the Rimini exhibition center, simultaneously with TTG Travel Experience, for the promotion of world tourism in Italy and for the marketing of the Italian tourism offer in the world, and SIA Hospitality Design, the international hospitality saloon.
The objective of what is the most important “marketplace” of tourism in Italy is to trace a new route for the sector, based on trust, that is the “currency” that moves the sector. IEG will insert the safety in every single aspect of travel and accommodation, from the offer of the tourist product to the reception in accommodation facilities. In organizational terms, the group has already taken steps to ensure full compliance with health rules and protocols at trade fairs, protecting the health of companies and visitors. The project launched by IEG It is called #safebusiness (www.iegexpo.it/it/safebusiness) and includes over 50 indications drawn downstream of a rigorous regulatory and organizational protocol.
The key to the reading of the 2020 edition of SUN will be the “think human. A new way of conceiving indoor and outdoor environments, the hospitality service and the centrality of food are the assets on which to regain the domestic market and project solid values abroad such as environmental sustainability, human warmth, professionalism, quality standards that together form the value chain of the Italian destination.
The conference, in the dedicated and revisited arenas, will be one of the strengths of the event, which last year saw the presence of almost 13,000 visitors. Meetings are organized by market players who will share projects and resilience skills, by architects capable of better defining new environments, by suppliers of accessories and technologies, by innovative startups that will make daily holiday gestures simpler and more relaxing, by public decision makers.
