Baia Holiday, a European leader in outdoor holidays with a presence in Italy, Croatia, France, and Spain, is expanding its offerings by introducing its new facility on Lake Garda, Camping Gasparina. This addition makes it two Baia Holiday-branded campsites on Italy’s largest lake, as the new acquisition in Castelnuovo del Garda joins the historic Concept Village Piccola Gardiola in San Felice del Benaco. Lake Garda holds a special place in the group’s heart, as it is where the company’s historical headquarters is located in Salò, marking the beginning of its journey into the world of open-air holidays in 1974.

For some time,” commented Valerio Vezzola, CEO of Baia Holiday, “we aspired to have a new facility in an area as important to us as Lake Garda, both for our history and our business. Camping Gasparina is perfect for Baia Holiday’s hospitality formula, which, in addition to excellent services, includes immersion in a beautiful and lush natural setting. We can’t wait to offer our best here as well and create magnificent opportunities for guests to discover an absolutely unique territory. Having this campsite in our portfolio will also allow us to establish new and strategic synergies with the Venetian side of Lake Garda.”

Strategic location and a large water park

Camping Gasparina boasts several advantages. Firstly, its strategic location: overlooking the Venetian shore of Lake Garda, it offers convenient direct access to the beach. Bicycle enthusiasts and walkers can enjoy the cycle-pedestrian path along the lakeside, connecting the town of Peschiera with Bardolino, passing through Castelnuovo del Garda and Lazise.

Moreover, the campsite is just a stone’s throw away from Gardaland (Sea Life Aquarium is a 10-minute walk), and a short distance from other attractions like Cavour Water Park in Valeggio sul Mincio, Movieland and Caneva Aquapark in Lazise, and Parco Natura Viva Zoo Safari in Bussolengo. Therefore, it is ideal for families seeking fun and adventure in the most famous amusement and adventure parks. The city of Verona, Valpolicella, and the Terme di Colà are other interesting destinations easily reachable from the campsite.

Guests are welcomed into pitches and elegant maxi-caravans, with various amenities available during their stay, including La Barchetta bar with a lake view, the Oasi restaurant-pizzeria, a market, and a water park with a semi-Olympic pool, hydro-massage area, and children’s pool. The facility is also pet-friendly.
