News from Outstanding, the Dutch company specializing in glamping tents and fully equipped lodges. Charlie Boynehas been appointed as the Director of Business Development in the United States. Boyne has extensive experience in the outdoor hospitality industry, gained over the years as a consultant and designer for hospitality companies.
Outstanding was born in 2009 with the purchase from Pakistan of the first safari tents, which sold out in a very short time. In 2014, direct production began with the goal of improving the quality of the tents. In 2015, the first participation in the Montepellier Sett adds international visibility to the Dutch company, while in 2019 a new location is inaugurated.
With 2020, the delivery of tents is realized through the use of a fleet of proprietary vehicles, which allows for better management of transportation and assembly. 2021 is the first year in which the company exceeds 1,000 tents delivered in a season, while in 2022 the first foreign office is opened, in France. The same year sees the opening of the current headquarters in Barneveld, next to the warehouse, which also includes a showroom. With the appointment of Charlie Boyne, the Dutch company is now targeting the U.S. market to make its products and services known, officially making Outstanding USA Inc. operational.
