Club del Sole, a company with 23 holiday villages in 7 Italian regions, has entered into an innovative partnership with Takyon, a startup that has made non-modifiable hotel bookings resellable. By applying blockchain technology, the Italian startup transforms non-refundable bookings into NFTs, or digital ownership certificates, which Club del Sole customers can easily resell directly on the Takyon platform.

This new feature allows customers to book their stays with greater peace of mind, knowing that, in case of any impediment or change of plans, they can resell their booking up to the last minute. This solution evidently offers customers greater flexibility in travel planning, an aspect increasingly appreciated by travelers and one that Club del Sole is decisively focusing on to ensure the best possible holiday experience, starting from the booking process.

Angelo E. Cartelli, General Manager of Club del Sole, expressed his enthusiasm for the agreement with Takyon, highlighting how it perfectly aligns with Club del Sole’s “Full Life Holidays” model. “It is a flexible model as it offers customers maximum freedom in choosing their accommodation solution and additional services. Flexibility that can now also be guaranteed during the booking phase“.
