Danish Camping Award 2025: Camping Ribe confirmed as Denmark’s best campsite

This year, the Danish camping world once again celebrated the best campsites with the Danish Camping Award 2025. The award, organized by the DCU (Dansk Camping Union), the main camping organization in Denmark, was given to 17 winners who stood out in various categories dedicated to quality, services, and innovation.

The awards were presented by the national president of DCU, Anne-Vibeke Isaksen. In 12 categories, it was the campers who voted and determined the winners, invited to cast their votes through the Camping-fritid magazine, the dcu.dk website, the newsletter, and social media. Ribe Camping was crowned the best campsite in Denmark, repeating its success from the previous two years. Among the category winners, the Italian Camping Villaggio Rubicone stood out, awarded as the best campsite in Southern Europe.

In the four categories related to camping equipment and the DCU Volunteer of the Year award, the prizes were awarded by a jury of experts.

Awards for innovative camping products:

Finally, the special “DCU Volunteer of the Year” award was given to Finn Ljørring, president of the 4th District DCU in Northern Jutland, who has been active in the association for nearly 40 years.
