Gianfranco Vitali, President of FAITA Emilia-Romagna and provibiro of FAITA-FederCamping, has been reconfirmed for the third time at the helm of the steering committee of Destinazione Turistica Romagna. The decision, supported by the leadership of Ascom Confcommercio, represents a strong signal of trust and continuity for the future of regional tourism.
“Destinazione Turistica Romagna is a public body of the Region that coordinates and promotes tourism activities in one of the territories richest in history, culture, and natural beauty in Italy,” said Vitali, highlighting the strategic role of the entity in supporting the sector.
Vitali’s reconfirmation was welcomed with satisfaction by Ascom Confcommercio, which praised his ability to combine experience and innovation. Under his leadership, Romagna has established itself as a competitive tourist destination, attracting an increasing number of visitors from both Italy and abroad.
“The immediate goal of Destinazione Turistica Romagna is to increase the presence of foreign tourists in our regional territory,” said Vitali, emphasizing the success of the strategies implemented: “Regarding open-air tourism, in the 2024 season we recorded a 10% increase in foreign tourist presence compared to the previous season. An excellent result for the entire sector’s economy”.
