With the official reopening of all its open-air structures in Italy and Luxembourg under the Hu Openair brand, Human Company launches the 2026 season in the best possible way, announcing an investment plan of more than €21 million dedicated to the renovation of accommodation and the enhancement of services. The investments confirm the strong momentum with which the Group approaches the 2026 season, which has already recorded positive results in the first four months of the year: +5% in revenue, +10% in volumes, and a +3% increase in average length of stay.
These figures highlight the growing success of Human Company’s open-air tourism model, which is increasingly personalised, sustainable and experience-oriented. “Today, open-air tourism is driven by new priorities: personalisation, freedom of choice and attention to social and environmental impact. Offering tailor-made experiences, giving guests greater freedom in how they enjoy their stay, and generating a positive contribution for people and territories are increasingly central elements in value creation,” said Valentina Fioravanti, Chief Marketing & Communication Officer at Human Company.
New mobile homes and advanced technological solutions
Of the total investment of over €21.1 million, Human Company has allocated €6 million to its accommodation portfolio, with the installation of 108 new mobile homes designed with a strong focus on design, living comfort (including larger spaces), and the use of sustainable materials. Among the solutions adopted, ecological fibre-cement cladding stands out, chosen for its durability, efficiency and reduced environmental impact.
On the energy efficiency front, the company will invest in advanced technologies such as the Digital Twin, a system that creates a virtual replica of the Village to monitor energy efficiency and facility performance in real time. Thanks to an integrated IoT infrastructure, it will be possible to optimise the consumption of accommodation units, monitor key assets such as swimming pools and technical rooms, and quickly identify any anomalies or inefficiencies.
More news for the 2026 season
Another key objective for the company is the strengthening of its pet-friendly services. The “Love Pet Pack”, for example, will be available across all Hu Openair structures, while dedicated areas and services for pets will be further improved to make stays more comfortable and tailored for guests travelling with their animals.
Attention to the environment and sustainability is also growing through the Nature Hubs, interactive spaces dedicated to discovering nature and biodiversity, already introduced last year at Hu Altomincio Village, Hu Montescudaio Village and Hu Park Albatros Village, and now also arriving at Hu Birkelt Village. This project is designed to engage families and children in an educational and mindful experience in close contact with nature.
