The French group Huttopia – a leader in the ecotourism sector with over 140 campsites in 8 countries across Europe and North America, all directly managed – has joined the Alliance France Tourisme. This association, chaired by Dominique Marcel, brings together leading tourism companies to create a forum for discussion and exchange on topics related to tourism and France’s attractiveness as a destination.
Philippe Bossanne, President of the Huttopia Group, said he was delighted to join the Alliance France Tourisme, which will enable the Group to actively contribute to discussions aimed at enhancing the attractiveness of France as a destination. The aim will be to boost tourism in regions where it is less developed, while maintaining a strong commitment to environmental protection, which is the company’s hallmark.
With this move, Huttopia joins other members of the association, which includes around twenty companies directly or indirectly linked to the tourism sector. Among them are hospitality groups such as Pierre & Vacances – Center Parcs, European Camping Group, and Belambra, as well as companies in retail, catering, mobility, entertainment, and finance.
Within the Alliance France Tourisme, each member shares its expertise and experience, providing a comprehensive vision of the tourism industry. Thanks to this valuable exchange, the forum works on the development of a long-term tourism strategy, proposing concrete actions to foster solid and sustainable growth in the French tourism industry.
