The prestigious PiNCAMP Awards 2025 are now open for submissions, marking a significant milestone in the camping industry. This year’s awards are set to become the pinnacle of recognition for campsites across Europe, following the unification of camping activities from three major automobile clubs: ADAC (Germany), ANWB (Netherlands), and TCS (Switzerland) into PiNCAMP. Basically, they are the equivalent of the Oscars for film.
Historically, the ADAC Camping Awards and the ANWB Campsite of the Year Awards have been the benchmarks of excellence in the camping world. Now, with the merging of these accolades under the PiNCAMP banner, the PiNCAMP Awards 2025 promise to elevate this tradition by honoring six exceptional campsites and two outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the European camping industry.
Award categories
The PiNCAMP Awards will recognize achievements in the following categories for campsites:
- Innovation and progress: celebrating groundbreaking ideas and advancements in the camping experience
- Sustainability and environmental awareness: honoring campsites that prioritize eco-friendly practices.
- Demographic change and accessibility: recognizing efforts to make camping accessible and enjoyable for all age groups and abilities
- Digitization: awarding those who integrate cutting-edge technology into their services
- Small campsite: highlighting the charm and quality of smaller, unique camping spots
- Rental accommodation: applauding excellence in the provision of rental lodging options
Additionally, the PiNCAMP Awards will honor individuals in the following categories:
- Young talent: spotlighting emerging leaders and innovators in the camping industry
- Hall of fame: a lifetime achievement award for those who have significantly shaped European camping
How to participate
From now until September 1, 2024, campsite owners, managers, and camping enthusiasts are invited to submit their nominations for each of the eight categories. This is the chance to recognize the exceptional efforts and innovations within the camping community.
To nominate, simply visit the PiNCAMP Awards Submission Page and enter the suggestions. It is possible to nominate one or more candidates per category.
The Gala event
The winners will be announced at the PiNCAMP Gala in Stuttgart at the beginning of 2025. This glamorous event will bring together leaders and innovators from the camping industry to celebrate outstanding achievements and share insights on the future of camping in Europe.
