The Italian camping supply chain changes position in Rimini and officially enters SIA Hospitality Design. The 2022 edition, together with those of SUN Beach&Outdoor Style and TTG Travel Experience, will see a full calendar of seminars and talks to transfer the knowledge tools to compete on the market and become real hospitality innovators to tourism professionals.
In a constantly evolving world, the rules, times, destinations, and tools of tourism also change. This is why SIA Hospitality Design and SUN Beach&Outdoor Style focus on professional training. From October 12 to 14, at the same time as TTG Travel Experience, the salons dedicated to hôtellerie, open-air and seaside tourism organized by Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) will deal with bathing concessions, safety, ecology, catering, innovation, accessibility – the hottest topics in the sector will be touched upon.
Campsite closest to the hôtellerie
Ever closer, in terms of housing standards, supplies and entrepreneurial spirit, to the hôtellerie, the camping supply chain is thus disconnected from the world of seaside tourism. This choice, which follows the recent collaboration agreement signed by IEG and FAITA-FederCamping, brings the world of camping, glamping and outdoor tourism in direct contact with the hotel hospitality sector: from hotel services to technologies, from supplies to furnishings, up to the design of “contract” spaces.
SIA returns with the Design Arena, linked to the themes of design, contract and services, which this year pays particular attention to the customization of products and services and technological evolution. The exhibition offer is accompanied by the events of the Main Arena, with the participation of institutional guests and the main stakeholders in the sector. Among these, the presence of Federalberghi, which gathers the board of directors during the fair.
4 exhibitions to inspire
At the fair in Rimini, 4 exhibitions will be proposed designed to inspire operators. The Rooms Exhibition will host 6 mock-ups of hotel rooms entrusted to the skilled hands of contractors who will be able to interpret new trends by transforming them into projects. The second exhibition dedicated to Wellness will give an example of what it means today to dedicate spaces to relaxation and individual well-being, following contemporary rituals. The Hotel in Motion Exhibition will welcome the new technologies and services for hotel facilities, while the Glamping Exhibition, which will tell how the open-air holiday style has evolved through the quality of service and refined materials, will be exhibited in the Camping & Village area.
In addition to the TTG Travel Experience, SIA and SUN will also take place simultaneously with the second edition of Superfaces, a fair dedicated to innovative materials and surfaces for architecture and interior design, and with the 11th edition of IBE Intermobility and Bus Expo, a passengers transport fair for the interconnected and green mobility.
