Hatha by BHI is a new concept of mobile home, designed to offer truly ecological stays in nature, stays that involve very low energy consumption. BIO Habitat and its subsidiary BHI have chosen to exclusively reveal the main features of Hatha at the Sett show in Montpellier, the leading event in Europe for outdoor hospitality equipment.
What does the Hatha “passive” mobile home guarantee
The concept of “passive” house or bioclimatic house was born in Germany, where this type of housing is known as PassivHaus. The term generically defines a home capable of guaranteeing thermal comfort without or with a minimal internal heating energy source.
Thanks to ultra-reinforced insulation and adapted ventilation, Hatha by BHI ensures very low energy consumption. A building with a high degree of insulation combined with carefully designed ventilation offers, in fact, minimal energy dispersion.
Furthermore, Hatha’s energy efficiency is amplified by the careful choice of latest generation equipment, which allows maximum savings on both electricity and water, promoting recycling. Finally, Hatha’s designers have found a way to apply widespread control to the consumption of this mobile home, facilitating rapid interventions in the event of malfunctions.
Why BHI chose to design Hatha
According to the results of a study conducted in 2023 by BetterFly Tourism, a software publisher for tourism professionals, 78% of the environmental impact of a mobile home comes from its use. For this reason, BIO Habitat has chosen to dedicate time and energy to the design of a new low carbon mobile home.
BIO Habitat has always designed its accommodation according to the principles of eco-building, but Hatha by BHI allows you to take an important step further. Hatha provides outdoor hospitality professionals with a new mobile home model, which allows them to minimize heat loss and daily water consumption.
To promote Hatha, BIO Habitat and BHI will implement playful communication activities focused on eco-responsibility. BHI offers a wide range of mobile homes suitable for different needs for leisure and relaxation in nature.
