HolaCamp, a company specialized in campsite management, continues its growth trajectory by expanding its portfolio with a new addition in Catalonia. The acquisition involves Camping La Vall de Campmajor, set in a stunning natural setting in the heart of Girona province, nestled between Pla de l’Estany and the Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. Now renamed HolaCamp Vall Natura, the campsite perfectly embodies the group’s philosophy: offering a nature-immersed hospitality model focused on sustainability and authentic experiences.
This new addition serves as an ideal inland alternative to coastal tourism, in a region of Catalonia rich in charm and natural attractions. Already present in the province with a site in Palamós, HolaCamp now reaches a total of twelve active campsites, seven of which are located in Catalonia, consolidating its presence in high-quality nature destinations.
A revitalization plan rooted in nature
The newly branded HolaCamp Vall Natura is set to undergo a gradual transformation that preserves its family-oriented spirit and commitment to environmental stewardship. For the current summer season, 12 safari-style glamping tents have been added, complementing the existing 8 bungalows and more than 70 camping pitches. The site spans 2.1 hectares, with plans to increase its capacity to up to 120 pitches by 2026.
New family-friendly accommodation units and additional glamping tents are expected to follow, along with a progressive enhancement of on-site services. Among the most notable innovations is the introduction of dedicated remote work areas, allowing guests to combine vacation and work in a peaceful, rural environment.
The campsite also hosts a small community of animals, including chickens, rabbits, and two free-roaming horses. This living space offers children the chance to interact naturally with animals and learn to respect them, aligning perfectly with HolaCamp’s brand philosophy of environmental respect and value-based education.
