On October 22–23, 2025, the Auditorium del Massimo in Rome will host a new edition of the Forum Open Air, the national benchmark event promoted by FAITA-Federcamping for the outdoor tourism industry. Two intensive days of meetings, debates, and networking will shine a spotlight on key issues shaping the sector’s future: sustainability, innovation, new technologies, regulations, and artificial intelligence.
The Forum represents a vital meeting point for entrepreneurs, managers, professionals, and stakeholders across the value chain who are eager to anticipate change and build the future of outdoor hospitality together. High-level talks, panels, and workshops will provide concrete tools and strategic insights, while a curated exhibition area will showcase top companies and innovative players offering solutions and services that make a real difference.
For the Forum Open Air 2025, the organizers have placed the focus on pivotal topics set to define the future of outdoor hospitality: sustainability, digitalization, management and governance, compliance and legal frameworks, and, not least, artificial intelligence and its role in decision-making processes. The result promises to be a particularly engaging program, rich in discussions and reflections, designed to foster a constructive approach and an informed perspective on the sector’s evolution.
Training: FAITA Academy is born
The program will open on October 21 with the launch of FAITA Academy, a new training initiative designed to support businesses and professionals with continuous learning and compliance with new regulations. The day will offer in-depth sessions on essential topics for the outdoor sector, ranging from catering and regulatory simplifications to the sustainability of facilities and insurance aspects.
On October 22, discussions will move into full swing with a focus on regulatory updates, the evolution of labor contracts, and copyright protection. Considerable attention will also be given to sector data and the strategic role of open-air structures as territorial hubs capable of enhancing local culture, traditions, and experiences.
The closing day, October 23, will feature an address by FAITA-Federcamping’s national president, Alberto Granzotto, followed by a dynamic talk show exploring future challenges: from the impact of artificial intelligence on human resources management to the opportunities of new markets and emerging hospitality formats such as glamping.
