The IODE 2024 Exhibition is set to take place on January 31st and February 1st at the Chorus Exhibition Center in Vannes, Brittany. For 18 years, this French exhibition has been one of the most significant events dedicated to the hospitality industry, offering professionals a comprehensive range of products and services in camping, hotels, and outdoor equipment in a friendly atmosphere.
During the two-day exhibition, campsite managers, hoteliers, amusement park operators, cafes, restaurants, and providers of tourist and leisure services will have the opportunity to meet, network, and discover the latest trends and innovations in the industry. This includes participation in workshops and product demonstrations. The 2024 edition expects over 2,000 visitors and the participation of 190 exhibitors divided into 5 categories: accommodations and large structures; equipment; services; wellness, leisure, and entertainment; and finally, CHR (Cafés, Hotels, Restaurants).
A packed schedule of conferences
The first scheduled event on the opening day of the exhibition will be a live interview with Nicolas Dayot, president of the Fédération nationale de l’hôtellerie de plein air (FNHPA) and the Union bretonne de l’hôtellerie de plein air (UBHPA), who will answer the audience’s questions about the industry’s main innovations.
Following this, other meeting sessions are planned: discussions on connected and optimized charging solutions for electric vehicles and cargo bicycles, as well as topics related to taxation and the challenge of saving small campsitesat risk of disappearing. The latter is one of the battles that the FNHPA has been fighting for some time, and the Exhibition will be an opportunity to present the Guide for outdoor hospitality operators dedicated to the rescue and revitalization of small campsites, addressing the issues and future prospects.
On February 1st, discussions will cover biodiversity in campsites, innovative and sustainable accommodations and solutions for restricted areas, business management tools (Camping Qualité), recruitment for the summer season of 2024, and consulting services and activities.
