With a record 636 exhibitors and over 18,500 professional visitors, the 47th edition of Hospitality – Il salone dell’accoglienza has closed in Riva del Garda (Italy). The event mainly dedicated to the Ho.Re.Ca. this year has also opened its spaces to the outdoor world, which thanks to an agreement with FAITA-FederCamping has been translated into an entire pavilion specifically dedicated to open-air tourism positioned in an area called Outdoor Boom.
“We are satisfied with the agreement between FAITA-FederCamping and the Riva del Garda Fair, which has allowed many entrepreneurs from lakeside and mountain resorts direct contact with the many important innovations offered by the market,” said Alberto Granzotto, President of the federation. “It is the beginning of a journey that we intend to make lasting and increasingly articulated, enriching an important and nationally recognized event with content”.
The camping segment grew by 50%
The event has shown that it knows how to respond to every need and preference of visitors. In addition to the substantial participation of entrepreneurs from the catering, hotel, and public establishments sectors in general, Hospitality recorded a 16% growth in non-hotel operators and a good 50% in the camping segment.
Alessandra Albarelli, General Manager of Riva del Garda Fierecongressi, commented: “Intercepting trends is the spirit that has always animated this event and, in this edition, we have created the new Outdoor Boom salon, born as a conference in 2022 and developed thanks to the collaboration with FAITA-FederCamping”.
Once again, this year Hospitality has dedicated ample space to training. Between workshops, educationals, seminars, and experiential initiatives, the event was a stage full of multidisciplinary contents that involved over 25% of the presences (1 out of 4) in the Mainstage, the Theater of Pavilion D, and in the 4 arenas: Beer Arena, Outdoor Boom Arena, RPM Arena, and Winescape Arena.
