A new group of Campmaster students has already started classes. The second edition of the Master in Sustainable Outdoor Hospitality Management (SOHM) has begun under the best auspices. The students are enthusiastic and are already working hard. Meanwhile, the first generation of Campmaster students are in Girona to attend the 3rd semester, after completing their summer internships. They are scheduled to graduate in April 2025, also in Girona.

Love for tourism and outdoor
The new cohort of 2025/2026 Campmaster students already has a background in, or at least a strong familiarity with, the world of camping, tourist villages, and hospitality. Let’s find out more about their passions, academic backgrounds, and what they aspire to do in the near future.
Mohammed from Iran

Mohammad Najafi Asadollahi is a guide and outdoor enthusiast. His journey into tourism has been a bit unusual. He started working at Swarovski Optik in Iran when he was 18, studied physics and spent two years in marketing before realizing that his true passion was the tourism industry, especially outdoor activities and adventure travel. Over the years, he has had the privilege of being featured on national TV as a travel expert, showcasing some of Iran’s most remote and fascinating historical sites.
Edouard from Belgium

Edouard Capelle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing. His entire life has been driven by a passion for professional success and physical endurance. He practices judo at a high level, always striving for personal improvement. His connection to the world of hospitality and outdoor experiences began early, as his parents own a campsite in Belgium. Growing up surrounded by this environment has given him unique insights into the challenges and rewards of outdoor hospitality. For him, it is not just a business, but a lifestyle that combines a love of nature with a desire to create meaningful experiences for others.
Vita from Croatia

At 24, Vita Kralj lives in Croatia and holds a high school degree in economics, along with a bachelor’s degree in tourism management from the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, Croatia. Her internship at Hotel Internacional in Zagreb and the experience working in accounting for the German corporation Metro have given her valuable insights into both the tourism and business sectors. She has a strong passion for personal growth and her dedication to achieving goals drives her to continually seek out opportunities to learn and contribute to society in meaningful ways.
Zhao from China

Zhao Xiaoran is a lover of nature and outdoor activities. She feels optimistic and open-minded and likes to look for commonalities in different environments. Her diverse background, including studies abroad and interdisciplinary experiences, has allowed her to explore different perspectives and lifestyles. She studied production design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Perugia (Italy), focusing on design thinking and Western art history. After graduation, she worked as a curator at the Sino-French Rongyuan Cultural and Art Research Institution in Qingdao (China). Then, she studied Creative Industries at Radboud in Nijmegen (Netherlands).
Marc from Spain

Marc Suñe Gou comes from a family that owns the Las Dunas campsite, where he grew up. Before starting this master’s degree, he studied for a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in Barcelona and completed an internship at the multinational Naturgy. After that, he moved abroad to Sydney for six months to improve his English skills. He wants to become a specialist in sustainable outdoor hospitality and sustainable tourism. And he desires to apply the knowledge he gained during the Campmaster degree to the family business, helping it remain one of the most recognized campsites in Europe.
The SOHM scholarship
Each of the new students of the Campmaster cohort will soon receive a scholarship of €5,000 from the international partners of the organizing company. Carthago-Malibu, ANWB, PiNCAMP, ACSI, and Vacanza col Cuore have chosen to support the young students of the second edition of the master in outdoor sustainability to help them realize their dreams.
