Camping Business participated in the two days, just passed, organized by the Croatian Camping Federation and which saw the participation of 94 campsite representatives (directors, CEOs, marketing managers, receptionists) visiting Lake Garda to visit and learn about the best campsites in the area. A tradition that has been repeated for 15 years and which now represents an important moment of reflection and growth for the participants who have the opportunity to confront themselves with other realities similar to theirs and draw ideas and suggestions.

“These study trips are highly appreciated and expected throughout the year by our associates. It is important to discover other realities and visit campsites with very high quality standards ”, tells us Adriano Palman, Director of the Croatian Camping Union (KUH). “We exchange ideas, look for solutions to common problems and create synergies that continue over time. It is important to broaden one’s horizons, go beyond one’s own country and network: sharing ideas and information on the market helps to evolve. In these two days about 30% of major campsites in Croatia were present. We visited excellent campsites, but it was also an opportunity to socialize with each other, thanks to pure entertainment activities such as a visit to Verona or Sirmione “.
“Our study trips are decided to involve only excellent campsites. We have been to Spain, France, Germany, Holland. Often many of these campsites that host us then come to visit us. Probably in spring the campsites of Lake Garda will come to visit us for the first time “, continues Adriano Palman.

The 16th edition of the Croatian Camping Congress will take place from 8 to 10 November in Šibenik in Croatia.
“We expect 350 representatives of Croatian campsites and the presence of institutions, in particular the Ministry of Tourism. Our conference has changed over time to become an event between the congress and the fair, it is a unique moment in which to draw conclusions. of the season just passed and indicate the lines of development for the following year. We will also be happy to host many representatives of European camping, such as Adac from Germany, Acsi from Holland, Ecocamping and Village4ALL and many other important realities of the open air sector “, concludes Palman.
