Club del Sole is among the 165 new members of the European Tourism Association – ETOA, the most important trade association in the European panorama, which counts more than 1,200 member organizations including tour operators, online operators, intermediaries, tourist boards, hotels, and other commercial and tourist service providers. An entry that brings one of the most important Italian groups dedicated to outdoor holidays into a competitive and attractive European context, in which the sharing of current and strategic themes such as sustainability, both human and environmental, will be fundamental. In fact, ETOA collaborates with the political authorities of the different countries with the aim of making the business environment fair and sustainable.
“We feel we are an active part of the community of professionals who work for the most beautiful industry of all tourism, and we see this entry as an opportunity for growth, comparison, and dialogue, both human and professional,” said Angelo E. Cartelli, General Director of Club del Sole. “We will bring to the association our open-air holiday format that offers our guests complete and integrated hospitality experiences; we will bring to the association our sustainable system model with the territories where our villages are located, territories of which we feel like active citizens and ambassadors always on the front line when it comes to defending and enhancing their natural, artistic, and cultural assets.”
As a new member of the European Tourism Association, Club del Sole participated in the Global European Marketplace event, held in London on November 3 and 4. On this occasion, the company was able to initiate a fruitful dialogue with colleagues from the international tourism industry and get to know new partners, suppliers and buyers.
