Huttopia, the French brand known for open-air holidays and managing approximately 120 campsites across Europe and America, has announced the opening of its first campsite in Spain. The Camping Huttopia Parque de Doñana, located in the heart of Andalusia, is the latest addition. Over €5 million have been invested in its construction: the campsite features 61 accommodations of various types, along with 50 pitches for tents, caravans, or campervans, and employs 25 staff members.
The inauguration of the new facility, along with the recent opening of the Lagoa de Obidos site in Portugal, follows the international growth trajectory of the French company, led by Michel Durrieu, General Manager of Huttopia International. Durrieu, the French manager orchestrating the group’s expansion strategy, has already hinted at the opening of two more campsites in Spain in 2025: one located in the Catalan region of Berguedà and the other in Lalín, Galicia, 60 kilometers from Santiago de Compostela.
The new campsites adhere to Huttopia’s established criteria: expansive spaces immersed in pristine nature, ensuring an outdoor holiday experience with freedom and comfort.
