A significant rebranding marks the beginning of a new chapter for one of the most well-known campsites along the Dalmatian coast, Croatia. Campsite Galeb, located in Omiš, in the heart of Dalmatia, has officially changed its name to Campsite Almissa, drawing inspiration from the town’s ancient Latin name. This change goes far beyond a new visual identity, signalling a substantial evolution in the campsite’s offering, infrastructure, and overall guest experience. Campsite Almissa blends Croatia’s rich historical heritage with a modern vision of outdoor hospitality, focusing on comfort, sustainability, and fresh experiences for today’s travellers.

The transformation to Campsite Almissa has been accompanied by a series of substantial upgrades, representing a clear step forward in quality and functionality. 40 brand-new, state-of-the-art mobile homes have been installed, built to the highest standards of safety and environmental sustainability. The entire camping area has been reimagined, with redesigned pitch layouts, extensive landscaping, and the replacement of electrical infrastructure. Internal access has also been improved through newly paved pathways, while upgraded public lighting and guest-use barbecuescontribute to a more enjoyable and practical stay.

The process of renewal is far from over. In the coming months, the campsite plans a full renovation of its sanitary blocks and the addition of more mobile homes, with the aim of further enhancing the standard of accommodation and enriching the overall guest experience.
