Outdoor Boom: at Hospitality a pavilion on outdoor between sustainability, accessibility, and inclusion

Hospitality 2024 opens today in Riva del Garda, an important event in the Ho.Re.Ca. sector of which Camping Business is a media partner, where the entire A2 pavilion – Outdoor Boom – is dedicated to open-air tourism with a rich offer of proposals and contents, thanks also to the 3-year agreement between FAITA-FederCamping and the fair. In addition to the presence of companies, suppliers, and partners in the sector – from glamping to wood houses between nature and sport – the event comes alive with a schedule of events on open-air hospitality.

Monday, February 5

The fulcrum of the events on outdoor tourism will be the Outdoor Boom Arena in pavilion A2 which will open on Monday 5 February at 2.00 pm with “Open-air data intelligence” and the speech by Francesco Traverso of HBenchmark; while at 3.00 pm there is an in-depth discussion on “Evolution of the concept of comfort: improving the perception of quality in the hospitality sector“, with the participation of Leopoldo Busa, founder of Biosafe.

Tuesday, February 6

The program continues at 11:00 on Tuesday 6 February with Roberto Vitali, founder of Village for All-V4A and accessibility expert who will illustrate the potential and opportunities of inclusive open-air tourism with the speech “Accessible horizons: expanding tourism all over ‘outdoors for all ages and abilities”. On February 6th at 12:00, Riccardo Viroli of Titanka!, with the support of data from the CampingVillage.Marketing Observatory, will illustrate how the “new” customers move, indicating the fundamental points for the sales strategy in the meeting “From the arrival of artificial intelligence to the changes in tourists’ searches: what is important to do in 2024 to sell your Camping Village”.

At 2.00 pm Emanuele Nardin of Hotelperformance will be the speaker of the meeting “Immediately increase the turnover of your camping thanks to revenue management“; while at 3.00 pm we continue with the speech by Camping.it “Hospitality and privacy: how to make the protection of personal data an added value for your structure“. The day ends at 4.00 pm with Sebastiano Tramontano of Teamwork in “Restaurant camping innovation: ideas and trends for catering and breakfast“.

Wednesday, February 7

Wednesday 7 February at 11:00 focus on managing the generational transition in the meeting “Family business, how to manage the generational transition: relationships, roles and responsibilities“. At 12:00 a debate between Marco Sperapani, General Manager of FAITA-FederCamping, and Alessandro Marchetto, member of the IED Working Group, on “The new concept of communication“.

In the afternoon, at 2.00 pm, Marco Vescovi from Jampaa will go on stage at the Outdoor Boom Arena to talk about “Open Air Hub: an integrated software to optimize communication and digital promotion of Open-Air companies“.

At 4.30 pm the activity will move to the Theater (pavilion D) for one of the most anticipated meetings organized by FAITA-FederCamping: the round table “Corporate sustainability and the ESG pillars: a new virtuous and profitable way for managing open-air accommodation facilities“, during which the study on the sustainability of a sample of campsites in Trentino will be presented with the presence of Sara Battistella from Quinto Passo. The debate will be animated by contributions from Alberto Granzotto, national president of FAITA-FederCamping; Fabio Poletti, president of Faita Trentino; Roberto Failoni, councilor for Tourism of the Province of Trento; Mauro Santinato, CEO of Teamwork; Sigmar Cavazza, owner of Camping Fornella; Lorenzo Kasperkovitz, head of external relations and sustainability service of Cassa Centrale Banca – CCI; Manfredi Vale, IMQeAmbiente.

Thursday, February 8

Thursday 8 February, the last event of the Outdoor Boom Arena is scheduled for 11:00 with the title “Energy management and services. Photovoltaics at the center of the strategy” for an in-depth analysis on the topic of energy sustainability, edited by Esaving.
