Across the European glamping market, Outstanding’s Safari Tent Wood has long been one of the most sought-after models, particularly in France and Spain. For the 2025 season, the company is not introducing an entirely new product, but has instead chosen an equally strategic direction: a substantial update of its best-seller, unveiled for the first time at the SETT in Montpellier.
The most striking change is the new front section featuring a glass sliding door, designed to increase natural light, comfort and the overall perception of Quality. This redesign gives the tent a more contemporary look, aligned with the growing demand for premium outdoor accommodation. “We’ve given our Wood – the most popular model in France and Spain – a complete makeover,” explains Remco van de Fliert, Sales Manager at Outstanding. “The fully redesigned front with a sliding door is one of the most visible upgrades and represents a real step forward in perceived comfort.”
A warmer, more contemporary interior style
Outstanding has also renewed the interior, introducing an entirely new design line that marks a clear departure from the traditional safari aesthetic. The new wood finish brings a more modern feel, creating a warmer and more refined atmosphere.
“Here we are presenting our new interior style,” continues Remco. “It’s a warmer and more inviting solution, featuring vinyl flooring and more luxurious, contemporary furniture. It offers a modern level of comfort that meets the expectations of parks and campsites wanting to deliver a higher-quality experience”.

The transition to more contemporary interior surfaces and vinyl flooring is not only an aesthetic choice. These materials ensure easier cleaning and better long-term performance – qualities increasingly valued by campsites and holiday parks aiming for a premium offering while keeping operational costs under control.
A contemporary interpretation of a proven model
While maintaining its proportions, the structural strength and the versatility that have always defined the Safari Tent Wood, Outstanding has reinterpreted one of its flagship products with a more modern approach. The result is a tent that retains the glamping essence of the original model but benefits from a more sophisticated aesthetic and an updated standard of comfort.
“We still see many parks that love the adventurous safari style, and it’s perfect for the summer,” concludes Remco. “But when operators want to offer a more luxurious experience, this new style fits exactly what guests are looking for”.
