Aminess Hotels & Campsites, one of the leading Croatian tourism companies and formerly known as Laguna Novigrad, has entered into an acquisition agreement for the majority of Dalmacija Hotel. The value of the transaction is 140 million kuna, equivalent to just over 18.5 million euros.

Thanks to this acquisition, the company will be enriched by 7 hotels, an apartment complex and a campsite with mobile homes and a total capacity of 1,000 residential units, while with the Aminess brand it already manages 6 hotels, 3 campsites with mobile homes and a complex of villas in Istria, Kvarner and Dalmatia with a capacity of 3,850 residential units.

Dalmacija Hotel is owned by HTP Korčula and HTP Orebić, on which Aminess will shortly launch an offer to take over the remaining shares. Aminess Hotels & Campsites stresses that both companies will now operate under its brand.

Considering the capabilities and development potential, the company goal is to be among the top five hotel groups in Croatia,” said a spokesperson for Aminess Hotels & Campsites, noting that they have recently expanded their business on the Krk island, acquiring the management of the hotel company Hoteli Njivice. The company also added that it aims to jointly develop all the destinations, in order to obtain the best result in terms of supply and from an economic point of view, safeguarding jobs in the region where tourism is one of the most important industries.
