The French group Inspire Villages is rapidly expanding. Born just three years ago, the young French brand of outdoor holidays has just completed the acquisition of the Slow Village group and its six campsites. With this move, Inspire Villages has more than doubled its portfolio, now owning 11 campsites in France.

Interviewed by the website LOfficiel des terrains de camping, Baptiste Bonnichon and David Brunello, founders and co-CEOs of Inspire Villages, explained how, as part of a growth strategy, the choice of acquisition fell on the group that more than any other shares the same values and philosophy as Inspire Villages: “the taste for innovation and the reinvention of codes towards a new generation of hospitality” and “the same approach to eco-responsibility“.

More than an acquisition, according to the two managers, it is a merger between two groups that share the same idea of outdoor hospitality. The operation, moreover, will not affect the workers as all employees will be retained in their positions. For the current season, however, the Slow Village campsites will continue to use their brand, which will therefore coexist with that of Inspire Villages. At the end of the season it will be decided how to manage the two brands..

Here is the list of the 6 Slow Village campsites acquired by Inspire Villages:

  • Slow Village Ile de Ré, classification pending, Saint-Martin-de-Ré
  • Slow Village Périgord, 3-stars, Saint-Cybranet
  • Slow Village Breizh Légende, 3-stars, Plounéour-Trez
  • Slow Village Provence Occitanie, 5-stars, La Roque-sur-Cèze
  • Slow Village Biscarrosse-Lac, 3-stars, Biscarrosse
  • Slow Village Loire Vallée, 3-stars, Les Ponts-de-Cé
