The CongressPark in Wolfsburg will host the North German Camping Day on December 7th and 8th. The 8th edition of the congress is a result of collaboration among regional camping associations from northern Germany. This year, the host is the regional association BVCD from Lower Saxony, with other participants including the associations from Brandenburg, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony-Anhalt, and Schleswig-Holstein.

Two days of debates and networking

During the two days of activities, including panel discussions and an extensive specialist exhibition, the focus will primarily be on alternative energy and electromobility, with insights presented by the automotive company Volkswagen. Participants will also have the opportunity to experience “New Mobility” up close by visiting Wolfsburg’s Autostadt (Car City).

The discussions will revolve around current topics such as zero-impact camping, legal aspects of both short-term and long-term camping, social media marketing, digitization, dynamic pricing, revenue management, personnel recruitment, and the latest trends in tourism.

The congress will also provide a networking opportunity for industry operators – campground managers, exhibitors, tourism associations, and political representatives – to share experiences and engage in discussions on common interests.
