Ana Beriain confirmed for the third time as head of the Spanish Camping Federation

The Federación Española de Empresarios de Camping (FEEC) has confirmed Ana Beriain as president, who will thus lead the federation until 2024. This is the third consecutive term for the Iberian manager. Born in Bilbao in 1966, Beriain also holds the positions of Vice President of the Spanish Tourist Board, President of the Asociación de Hostelería y Turismo de Navarra and of the Asociación de Campings de Navarra, as well as being a member of the Executive Committee of the Confederación Española de Hoteles y Alojamientos Turísticos (Cehat).

“It is a great honor to hold the position of president of the FEEC,” Beriain told the Spanish website Camping Profesional. “Of course, it is a position of great responsibility, sometimes hard. I can say no more in this difficult moment we are experiencing. However, I am very satisfied to feel the union between colleagues: I have had and still have an exemplary commission, which always works for the common good. The drive, the enthusiasm and the dedication with which they work, like all the other colleagues in the associations of the Federation, is the most precious thing in our organization”.

As for the work to be done in the next four years, its priority objective is to restore the sector to the situation prior to the Covic-19 pandemic. “First of all, we must try to get our sector out of this crisis, which is doing so much damage to the economy and, above all, to tourism,” she said. “I would like the number of tourists who go to campsites, national and international, to continue to grow, for the sector to grow stronger and for the relationship with the Administration to improve further. And, why not, let the provincial associations that are not currently part of the association join us”.
