The Van de Loo family, owner of the Italian Vacanze Col Cuore, expands its glamping offer with the acquisition of the De Papillon holiday village in Twente, the Netherlands. Thanks to this operation, the company is now also targeting Dutch people who prefer to spend their holidays in their own country.

The plan is to further improve the quality of a resort that already boasts five stars. Among the ideas are those of creating private sanitary units, a high-end safari tent zone, luxury mobile home patios and renovated bungalows.

The trend for holidays closer to home was already there which has accelerated due to the Corona situation last summer,” according to director-owner of Vacanze col Cuore, Loek van de Loo. “With the purchase of De Papillon, we want to offer the Dutch tourist the opportunity to get to know our luxury glamping concept in their own country.
